Kargil, April 23 (Scoop News)-Commissioner Secretary for Higher Education, Social Welfare and Technical Education, Padma Angmo on the first day of her visit to Kargil district on Friday inspected Anganwadi Centres under Chiktan project and Kargil project under ICDS, visited Government Degree College Kargil and Government Industrial Training Institute Kargil.
She visited Anganwadi centres at Bemathang, Zgang Baroo, Silmo Colony in Kargil and some Anganwadi centres at Chiktan and Shargole blocks.
Secretary Padma interacted with the CDPO, Supervisors, Anganwadi workers and helpers and discussed various issues related to the centres. She also interacted with the children in the centres and their parents.
She directed to update the relevant data on Poshan Tracker App and ensure necessary training at the earliest and provide necessary facilities and services to children in a timely manner.
