Yasmin for meeting deadlines in projects

LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid on Tuesday directed the officials to strictly observe deadlines in the ongoing development projects in a review meeting at the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Sarah Aslam, Special Secretary PSHD Salman Ghani, Additional Secretary Admin Ghulam Farid, Additional Secretary Development Omar Farooq Alvi, Additional Secretary Technical Dr Asim Altaf and others. The health minister reviewed the status of existing and under development DHQ and THQ Hospitals, BHUs, RHCs, Sehat Ghar Programme, Trauma Centres and Diagnostic Centres.

LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid directed the officials on Tuesday to strictly observe deadlines in ongoing development projects at the tehsil and district headquarters hospitals of the province.
She was chairing a meeting at the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department.
The minister reviewed the status of existing and ongoing projects at the DHQ and THQ hospitals, basic health units (BHUs), rural health centres (RHCs), Sehat Ghar Programme, trauma centres and diagnostic centres.
Ms Rashid said the public hospitals in eight districts of the province were being upgraded. She added that the work on DHQ Hospital Multan and THQ Hospital Taunsa was under way and Secretary Health South Ajmal Bhatti was personally monitoring the activities.
