Paulette Dee Johnson was born July 17, 1944 to Charles and Grace (Winrow) Livermore in Canby, Minnesota. She attended Canby High School and graduated in 1962. She attended Moorhead State University where she earned her Secretarial Associates Degree. Paulette married Paul Johnson on July 11, 1965 at United Presbyterian Church in Canby. The couple moved to Roseau, MN in 1966 and were blessed with a son, Michael, in 1967. They moved to Norfolk, NE in 1971 where they were blessed with another son, Brad, that same year. Paulette worked as a secretary at Northeast Technical Community College. In 1980, Paul and Paulette moved their family to Alexandria, MN where Paulette worked as a legal secretary until 2008, and later worked as the secretary for Living Word Lutheran Church until her retirement in 2018.
