Whether you re flicking through stacks of classic vinyl at Kelly s Records, smelling the roses at Secret Garden Florist or enjoying a hot pizza at Ffwrnes, there s always something new to discover.

Valentine s Day is next weekend and chocolate shops are busy with orders for everything from boxed hearts to hot chocolate cocoa bombs, the food sensation of 2020. Then there s the latest chocolate creation: smashing hearts filled with a variety of goodies accompanied by a small mallet.
Often, there are messages either inside or outside to round out the experience, with everything from XOXO to Happy Valentine s Day.
The Cakery in Fishkill has dark chocolate breakable hearts that come with a Happy Valentine s Day greeting on the outside. Inside you ll find an assortment of cake balls, brownies and sugar cookies. The Cakery also has a variety of Valentine s Day cocoa bombs in heart-shaped and regular round sizes. Cost is two for $13. Hearts are $36. Order both by Feb. 4 (the earlier you order the better as there are limited supplies).
