The program includes an international mix of traditional brass band music by British, Belgian and Swiss composers. The featured work is "Albinus Variations" by Etienne Crausaz, which was recently used as a test piece in the Second Section of NABBA's 2024 Championships, is a virtuosic set of variations on a Bach chorale that winds up to a magnificent finish. Currently in our ninth season, the British Brass Band of Louisiana brings together top brass and percussion musicians from across the Ark-La-Tex to perform exciting and challenging brass band music.
