laura seville, hear the alarming sounds of the crash. we heard a thud and we heard a bike skid across the road and there was an audible gasp from everyone that was standing there on the hill, and i didn t look at braden s mother. i just kind of waited and then we heard the bike. we weren t sure if it was braden or not but saw him come around the corner and he shot his arm up and kicked out his leg and he yelled. and we re like, oh, there s braden just having a good time, as usual. dazed, childers crosses the finish line. i was stunned still. i was still really amped up, adrenaline s going full-on. so i get there, i m sitting there just staring off in the distance and the official is kind of looking at me like i m crazy wondering why i m not giving him my time car. i hit a deer. i hit a deer. did you really? you okay? dead-on. there s going to be some awesome video. came right up over the front.
