Reporting on BBC, business correspondent Emma Simpson stated: On the road the vans are full. This shows posties are grappling with an unprecedented increase in parcels this year. It has meant some delays for customers.
A Royal Mail spokesperson told Express.co.uk: “The majority of the Royal Mail network is running as usual in line with this seasonal peak in demand. We anticipate that we will deliver more UK parcels in these three and a half weeks than some of our competitors typically handle in an entire year.
