The DR Congo Football Association (FECOFA) have released a statement following the surprise u-turn of Hugo Broos to join Bafana Bafana.
Broos was due to be announced as the next head coach of the Democratic Republic of Congo national team but were informed that the Belgian was in talks with the South African Football Association at the final hour.
FECOFA has admitted they were surprised by the news and revealed they have now restarted their process to find a successor for Christian Nsengi-Biembe.
