PORTLAND Portland High School recently honored four upper-class students who earned recognition from the Connecticut Association of Schools for their athletic prowess and talents in the fields of visual and performing arts.
Seniors Justin Renk and Kylie Walsh are this year’s recipients of the CAS Scholar Athlete Award, which recognizes two high school seniors one boy and one girl whose academic and athletic careers have been exemplary, according to a press release. “Justin and Kylie’s personal standards and achievements are a model to others. and both have demonstrated integrity, self discipline and courage,” school administrators said.
