thanksgiving morning. linda yee is live with evidence just released aimed at finding the driver. linda? reporter: it all started with a fight in a fast food restaurant in san francisco. tonight, here at san francisco general, the firefighter s fellow firefighters, as well as the family are at his bedside, praying for his recovery. police say california state firefighter albert bartle got into a fight with another customer at a jack in the box restaurant. police say this is surveillance video of that customer before the fight. he s in the long white t-shirt standing at the counter. the men were separated and bartle walked out. investigators say that s when the other man followed bartle in his car and intentionally hit the firefighter when he reached a gas station at 9th and gary. the suspect drove off. bartle is in critical condition, with severe head injuries. this is a horrible experience that no fireman, police officer, nobody would ever want to have to go through this.
10:00 p.m. deadline to vacate we are live in front of city hall with an update. from the deadline as you can see the protesters are not going anywhere soon. take a look at the legal notice. this is the legal notice that the city of zero concerts these protesters with this afternoon. they told them they had to evacuate the area by 10:00 p.m.. but they say is their constitutional rights to camp out and demonstrate at city hall. there are a few people camping out here. oakland officials say that the protesters need to leave because of unsanitary conditions. the reason for that, the conditions of the last 10 days have deteriorated to the point where we can no longer maintain public health and public safety. the public health issues have been well documented. we have concerns about significant fire hazards. i hope they do not beat me up to bed that is all i can say. but this is special to me, this is a place to come and organize for economic justice. reporter: the big questio
