CM Naveen Patnaik pays tribute to Biju Patnaik at a park named after the latter in Bhubaneswar
BHUBANESWAR: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday inaugurated 3,000 Mo Seba Kendras (citizen service centres) across the state, an effort that will help bring his government closer to the public and ensure they do not have to make rounds of government offices to avail most of the services.
On the occasion of Biju Patnaik’s 105th birth anniversary, celebrated as panchayati raj and Lok Seva Diwas in Odisha, the chief minister inaugurated the centres and the OdishaOne portal, which would provide the same services online. Inaugurating the centres, Naveen said, “Biju Babu had a vision to spread the benefits of technology to every village. He always wanted the common man to benefit from science. The Mo Seba Kendra is a step in that direction.”
