In the last four years, the Department Reports that residential burglaries dropped by 40 . The chief credits his officers for remaining proactive in leaner staffing years. Nobody wants to do more than the men and women that wear this uniform. As we grow, we will be able to do more. Reporter home burglaries dropped. Violent crime has been increasing city wide. He does have lifethreatening injuries. Police say they did recover a gun at the scene. We heard from a witness who says she saw what unfolded.
