Sign Up A businessman has been accused of forcing pensioners to buy mobile homes they did not want by using bullying tactics and conning one victim out of nearly £80,000. Caravan park owner Cresswell Welch is alleged to have lied about the age of the second hand mobile homes he was selling and the annual cost of fees on his site. Welch, 57 of Seaton View, Arbroath, is alleged to have used similar sales tactics against a number of victims in their 70s over a period of more than two years.

A caravan park owner has been accused of bullying pensioners into buying mobile homes – and allegedly conned one complainer out of £79,500. Cresswell Welch is accused of lying about the age of the second-hand mobile homes he sold and annual site fee costs. Welch, 57, of Seaton View, Arbroath, allegedly used similar sales tactics against victims in their 70s over a period of more than two years. He allegedly defrauded Johan Dorothy Bruce, 74, of £79,500 by inducing her to pay that for a fixed mobile home by claiming it was 10 months old.
