How to unlock the Salvager s Salvo in Destiny 2
Salvager s Salvo is the pursuit weapon for Season of the Hunt. To start the quest which unlocks it, Messy Business, pay Banshee-44 (the Gunsmith) in the Tower.
The Messy Business quest works as follows: Earn points by defeating combatants in Crucible, Gambit or strike playlists. Significant bonus progress for Grenade and Grenade Launcher final blows. Also, complete Crucible, Gambit, or strike matches. Bonus progress for Crucible and Gambit wins, or Nightfall strikes.
Unlike pursuit objectives in previous seasons, this allows you to play any playlist activity and still progress the challenge.
There are, of course, some bonuses to be aware of to help you complete the matches step faster - specifically Nightfalls within the Strike playlists, and winning Crucible or Gambit matches.
