Royal Caribbean Cancels Cruises From Bermuda
Royal Caribbean has decided to cancel Vision of the Seas sailings out of Bermuda due to cruises resuming out of the US this summer.

Royal Caribbean has chosen not to pursue any cruises from Bermuda any longer. While the cruise industry is ramping up for a restart in the US, the UK is starting up right now, and the Mediterranean season is looking like it will be busy with ships from almost every company; Royal Caribbean has lost perspective for cruises sailing from Hamilton, Bermuda.

The Royal Caribbean cruise ship will be offering cruises out of
Bridgetown, Barbados, and this will be a second winter season out of the island for the cruise line. So the vessel will sail 7- and 14-night cruises in the Southern Caribbean from November 2022 through April 2023, and those bookings opened on April 29, 2021.

Royal Caribbean has extended its suspension out of the United States through June 30, 2021. Cruises are now not expected to resume until July at the earliest.

Royal Caribbean has followed other major cruise lines by extending its hold on operations out of the United States. It does now mean that cruises won’t start to resume until July 2021 at the very earliest.
It comes as pressure mounts on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention to lift
its “unworkable” framework on the Conditional Sailing Order. An order which is blocking cruise lines to resume sailings safely.
