Porsche To Release 911 GT2 RS Racing Kit Soon
Porsche and equipment partner, Manthey-Racing, have developed a track-focused kit for the 911 GT2 RS. Owners of the kit will get upgraded wheels, aero, suspension and brakes.

A full racing kit, made by Manthey-racing and Porsche, will soon be available for purchase for Porsche’s more track-focused models. For example, the 911 GT2 RS (991) could be a candidate for this upgrade. Once ordered, a Porsche dealership will professionally install it. All parts that are sold with this new kit are street legal, but made to improve your track times.
The kit itself includes things that aren t necessarily missing from your existing Porsche, but rather just adds an extra layer of racing comfort to rely upon. Customers get some of the coolest ‘80s style aero blade wheels along with other aero components, upgraded brakes, carbon fiber underbody and revised suspension. Once completed, your 911 is turned into a “911 GT2 RS MR.”

Porsche Classic and its Exclusive Manufaktur will now be able to take customer requests to build bespoke and completely custom Porsche restomods.

Porsche has gathered two of its specialized departments, “Porsche Classic” and “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur,” to bring a special few vehicles to lucky customers. The Sonderwunsch program, as they are calling it, will now take orders from customers who want a one-of-a-kind Porsche and set them up with a team of Porsche representatives to plan, design, and carry out the build of their very own one-off Porsche.
If a customer is approved for their desired project, a team of Porsche members can meet them in Zuffenhausen, the Atlanta or Los Angeles Porsche Experience Centre, or over Zoom to discuss the matters of their build.

The GPU or “graphics processing unit” is a Nvidia product that rapidly interfaces with a computers’ memory in order to accelerate the creation of images on a computer or processing unit. Nvidia’s GPU technology gained traction in the early 2000s and sent the company soaring to unheard-of success. According to Porsche, by the turn of the millennium, Nvidia had made over $3 billion.
Electric Porsche Boxster Concept May Be Around The Corner
Higher-ups at Porsche AG have said that the Boxster may get an EV sibling soon. Reportedly, a concept is being worked on right now.

Executive Board Member for Development at Porsche, Michael Steiner, said that a Boxster EV concept may be on the horizon for the company. Following the Macan EV news, Porsche seems eager to reveal more of its electric endeavors for the future.
Porsche has talked about electrifying the Boxster previously and has built prototypes to test the concept of an electric sports car, but it isn’t until now that full-scale development of a Boxster EV has been confirmed by Steiner.
