Tesla owners no longer have to drive hours to get their vehicles serviced, as Elon Musk s electric vehicle company has opened a Knoxville sales and service center at West Town Mall.
The store is located at the former Sear s Auto Center across from Dick s House of Sport.
More than just a showroom
Spencer Little, customer experience manager for the Knoxville location, told Knox News the store has a lounge and large showroom that will eventually have multiple Tesla models on display.
The store received its first test vehicle, a Model Y, on July 16 and held a soft opening around the same time, Little said. The store received a Model 3 this week, just in time for a grand opening celebration lasting all weekend long.
