Prime Minister Announces Members of the Economic Recovery Advisory Team
Prime Minister John Briceño today announced the members of the Economic Recovery Advisory Team. These members are tasked with getting the economy back on track. A working group of fourteen business professionals will make recommendations to engineer sustainable, economic activity going forward. A government press release says the team will also make recommendations to “protect and create jobs and successfully emerge from the current economic crisis stemming from the 2019 U.D.P. administration recession, the COVID-19 pandemic, weather-related shocks, and the resulting collapse of the tourism and other sectors of the economy.” The team will be co-chaired by the C.E.O. in the Ministry of Finance Christopher Coye and Sean Feinstein who will be representing the tourism industry.
