Mayo Clinic earned top rankings in the diabetes, gastroenterology and pulmonology categories in U.S. News & World Report's 2023 rankings. It was one of 22 hospitals named in the top Honor Roll.

The decision ends 34 years of annual rankings, including the last seven years when Mayo Clinic topped the list. Instead, U.S. News will publish ordinal rankings for 15 medical specialties.
