EDWARDSVILLE A former Jones Lang Lasalle Americas employee claims he was discriminated against because of his age and then fired in retaliation.
Mark Petkus filed a complaint Dec. 11 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Jones Lang Lasalle Americas Inc., and Sean Coser, alleging violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and Intentional Interference of Economic Advantage.
According to the complaint, Petkus claims he was working at a facility in Madison County that was managed by Jones Lang Lasalle when he was 56 years old. He alleges he was treated differently than younger employees and suffered from a hostile work environment and harassment due to his age.
