An impressive passing out parade was held at INS Chilka to induct as many as 455 trainees of Indian Navy and Coast Guard, who graduated last year. According to officials, the ceremony also marked the successful culmination of a 12-weeks of ab-initio sailors’ training at the centre.
Vice Admiral AK Chawla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, reviewed the parade and awarded the medals and trophies to meritorious trainees. He also witnessed the valedictory function which showcased the talents of the trainees.He congratulated the trainees for their impeccable turn out, smart drill and movements.
