The wreckage, according to the indonesian government, of air asia flight 8501, the flight disappeared a week ago with 162 people on board heading from surabaya indonesias second largest city, to singapore. Tonight all air asia flights flying that same route have been grounded with the indonesian transport minister saying the airline did not have permission to fly that route on the day of the crash. As allen pizzey reports, the planes black boxes that will tell us more about the cause have not been found yet but bad weather does appear to be partly to blame for the crash. Reporter the search for bodies was overshadowed today by the discovery of four large pieces of wreckage. Officials said they were sure the pieces were from the plane. And you can see from video shot by a viewer how Dangerous Things were at one point. Thats cal fire helicopter that was brought in to douse the flames. You can see the smoke filling the neighborhood. About a dozen homes were threatened, but residents were not evacuated. One homeowner told us the fire caught him offguard. There was a lot of smoke and all of a sudden, there was helicopters and a plane going overhead and dumping the orange on to the fire. It was interesting. Firefighters said the fire under control in about an hour. The cause is under investigation. Another fire in san jose displaced ten people, three dogs, and a parrot. It broke out at a duplex on jaser street. Firefighters say it started in a garage and quickly started to spread into the living areas. They got it under control before it got too far, but theres a lot of smoke and water damage. Everyone i

Like much of syria it presents a picture of bombed out buildings and rubble strewn roads. But now new evidence suggests the destruction of property here is not an accident of war. Human rights watch compiled a report claiming the government has been demolishing thousands of houses here, other parts of damascus, and the city of hama. The report uses satellite images to show how extensive the damage is. This is one district in hama seen in september 2012. This is the same place one month later.
