Cambodia has planned to spend 7 million USD to cover the expenses of food and accommodation for all foreign athletes and coaches participating in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games which is scheduled for May, Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said on April 24.
Vietnam won a gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the Suzuki Aerobic World Cup 2023 in Tokyo, Japan, from April 20-24, which gave momentum to the athletes to compete at the upcoming 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 32).
The music video "Cambodian Pride" – the official anthem of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 32) – has logged over 51 million views within just over 10 days since its release on YouTube, by far the highest compared to that of its equivalents in previous editions of the tournament.
Vovinam has not been a permanent sport competed at the Southeast Asian Games; however, the increasing number of competing countries in recent tournaments shows that it has been extensively welcomed.
The upcoming 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 32) next month is said to be a "springboard" for the Vietnamese women's football team on their journey to the prestigious 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in July, and offers a good chance to better the quality of the team’s defence.
