Of MA63 and 40pc revenue

DATUK John Lo in his Sunday column on 15th June 2023 suggested Sabahans should attend the Forum organised by the Sabah Law Society at the Town Hall. Two subjects will be presented and discussed by lawyers from the Sabah Law Society. One subject will focus on the Malaysia Agreement of 1963, and the other about the recent revival of the 40% net revenue that the Federal Government should pay to Sabah.

Suria group rebounds with econ recovery

Kota Kinabalu: Suria Capital Holdings Berhad and its Group of Companies (SuriaGroup) recorded a total revenue of RM73.4 million in the third quarter of 2022 (3QFY22), surged by 23.8 pc year on year from RM59.3 million in the same quarter of 2021 (3QFY21).   Revenue during the quarter rose by 27.2pc quarter on quarter from RM57.7million in the second quarter of 2022 (2QFY22).   The favourable uptrend was mainly driven by higher contributions from port operations segment.

KKJA appoints Permanent Honorary Advisors, Advisors | Daily Express Online

Kota Kinabalu Journalists Association (KKJA) appointed Asia Times proprietor Datuk Tiong Tan Hua and Sabah Publishing House Director Datuk Clement Yeh as the association’s Permanent Honorary Advisors.  Similarly, KKJA also appointed KTS Trading Sdn Bhd Sabah Area Operations Manager Wong Kee Mee and Daily Express Editor-in-Chief James Sarda, as the association’s Advisors.  The certificate of appointment was recently presented by KKJA Chairman Jimmy Goh who thanked them for their support to the association over the years
