To get into the debates this summer, that s the price of admission. so that s going to weed people out right then and there. do you think there is dangers having so many candidates at this stage? i think it is a lot. it s dangerous for people hoping to get attention and you are having trouble with it. when you have this many dand candidates only a handful will galvanize media attention and raise money. i was struck again not to go back to bill deblaz you, but i was struck his aides wouldn t say much money he raised. normally candidates like to put that out as a sign. he s the mayor of a major city. but, you know, i do think that once the debates begin, i think once we get to september, i think you are going to start seeing people dropping out of the race. most likely. i will say we did think that was going to happen in 2016 on the republican side. we thought that there was a game theory approach by all the republican candidates that the field will be whittled down by the time w
Like biden probably has to fight it out with beto for the moderate votes. i think the one that inspires that he or she can unite this country is going to be the candidate the democrats fall behind. it might even be one of the dand candidates traditionally thought of as more left. this is a bunch of candidates and a bunch of skilled people and a bunch of good leaders here. we got donald trump waiting to unite us. that s a big uniting force. i think whoever survives this process is going to be inspirational and appeal across the spectrum. do you think the democrats i ve generally voted democrat, not always. do you think you can run two white guys? is that over with, a monochromatic ticket, all one gender.

Ultimate, you know, remedy here. i mean, the remedy here for with donald trump is if he s, quote, guilty of these campaign finance violations is to go after him through the impeachment process. kiersten, it is pretty extraordinary, though, when you think about it and you pull back from this a little bit, to think about donald trump, a man who has announced his dand si fca c candidacy, in the room with david pecker, a low-level guy, three people talking about this plan from a tabloid publisher with enormous power to buy stories and kill them so that it helps the guy who is running for president. i mean, that s not normal. right. and i think rick keeps saying there s all these f.e.c. campaign finance violations and, rick, you said you had some on
