TFG London CEO to step down
TFG London chief executive Ben Barnett will leave the business in June 2021, after 14 years at the retail group.
Barnett joined the Phase Eight board in 2007, and led the successful acquisitions of Whistles in March 2016 and Hobbs in November 2017.
Hobbs managing director Justin Hampshire will take over Barnett s role, as group managing director. Hampshire joined TFG London in March 2016 when the business acquired the womenswear brand. In September 2016 he was promoted to managing director. In January last year Hampshire became Hobbs managing director.
Barnett will focus on his portfolio of non-executive and advisory roles in retail, technology and media, including with the sustainable fashion retailer All Good Things, as chair; the European SaaS OMS software business OneStock, as chair; and the global translation and localisation provider, Voice and Script International, as non-executive director.
