its impeachment inquiry? it s going to be an interesting year. it s just to start off. we re walking in as the house judiciary committee is going to be placing a vote most likely this upcoming week on defining the terms of an investigation into impeachment proceedings for the president. that only says what they re looking at into the next term. that s going to be the probe which is connected to this scottish resort. it s going to be the fact that there might be corruption that we vbt seen or uncovered in the past couple of months. it s going to mean a lot that the dominant democratic house to really push forward and make sure that they re going after what is right and what is true. but at the same time, being held to a standard to their locals. to their constituents and making sure that they re not going after the president for the sake of going after him, but really seek to go investigate what s under the hood in the white house. we ll see how it all plays out in washington and

so politico.com is out, you can see my marked up version of it. this is what happens to news articles when they come out, and i can t believe them. politico.com out with this jaw dropping scoop tonight about a previously undisclosed congressional investigation into the u.s. military apparently diverting c 17 cargo flights to stop at president trump s golf course in scotland. literally to have u.s. airmen stay at his golf resort so that revenue from that goes to president trump. but also having the c 17s fuel up at commercial rates at a struggling nearby airport that trump needs to stay open if he s going to keep that golf course open. these flights, these routine flights from alaska back and forth to kuwait, these supply trips, they always previously refuelled at u.s. military bases, which makes sense, they are military flights.
trump s golf resort in scotland and refuelling at the commercial airport there. is this something that just sounds crazy but kind of happens? is this a normal thing? no, not at all, rachel. this is totally unheard of. i mean, the reason we have these military installations in western europe, in ramstein, in germany as you referenced, in roma spain, and italy, is so there will be a logistics hub for u.s. military operations in europe and the european theater in north africa and the middle east, so whenever we re flying aircraft all the way over to kuwait, or to support our troops operating in the gulf, for example, we stop routinely in those western european military bases. there s absolutely no reason to stop at a trump hotel or an airport, a struggling airport near a trump hotel and i have to say, rachel, i find this highly unusual because in the pentagon you can t go 30 feet without an ethics lawyer following you. everything is written down. everything is by regulation.
