there will be something other than millions of midges swarming around loch ness this weekend, when the latest technology, above the water and underneath, will be deployed by experts and volunteers in the latest effort to discover whether there is a great monster in the loch. and monster hunters from all over the world will be able to watch a livestream, to catch the moment nessie stirs if indeed there is a sea creature. it was back in 1933 that sightings of of a dragon or prehistoric monster were reporte in the scottish press, and since then nessie has never really gone away. the whole thing is a ruddy tourist trap! yeah, we might as well pack it in and go home. nessie was very big in the 70s. she, or maybe he, depending on who you ask, was all over popular culture and the thought of her lurking presence made many a scenic but otherwise tranquil scottish boating holiday seem that bit more edgy. sadly, some of the magic was hijacked in when what we might call the evidence agnostic
