Turned their attention to grey aliens and ufos. the idea of a giant monster hiding in a scottish loch seemed, well, a little bit too innocent. but are we in for a whopping surprise in loch ness? nessie has always been good for business. after a privately owned tourism company purchased and reopened the loch ness centre, this coming weekend they, along with volunteers, are organising the use of surveying equipment which is said to never have been used in loch ness before. drones to produce thermal images of the water from the air using infrared cameras, as well as a hydrophone to detect acoustic signals beneath the surface. it is just possible that this is being done to boost scottish tourism rather than actually to find a giant water creature. but if it proves one thing, it is thatjust because a monster might or might not exist, it doesn t mean it s not real.
