WEIRTON Scott Winwood, president and CEO of First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union, has been was elected to represent District 1 on the West Virginia Credit Union League Board of Directors.
District 1, which encompasses Brooke and Hancock counties, is one of nine districts which holds director elections every three years. Each of the board members serves as a volunteer and advises league management on its strategic direction.
The league serves credit unions in a variety of capacities including legislative and regulatory advocacy, education and training, compliance assistance, and promoting credit union awareness.
