Bail violation
On December 21st at 8:06 a.m., Belleville police were called to an east-end residence for a disturbance. After calming the situation, and ensuring the safety of others, police arrested and charged a 27-year old city man with one count of failing to comply with a condition on his undertaking from a previous release earlier in the year. The man was taken into custody, and transported to the Belleville Police Service. He was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on December 22nd for a bail hearing. Police are not releasing his name in order to protect the identity of an involved victim.
