A veteran entrepreneur is the new head of an organization that’s invested tens of millions of dollars in fledgling eastern Ontario companies over the past seven years.
The Southeastern Ontario Angel Network announced Tuesday that Mike Amos has been named managing director. Amos replaces John Malloy, who retired at the end of March after serving as the organization’s leader since it was founded in 2014.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build off the tremendous work that John Molloy fostered through his vision in creating and building a leading angel network across eastern Ontario,” Amos said in a statement.\
