Chicago Cubs Minor League Wrap: May 15 Only Myrtle Beach managed to win today and the Cubs’ system was on the wrong side of two walk-off home runs. Share this story Shelby Miller made another rehab start tonight and there was some good news and less good news. Miller pitched 3.1 innings and gave up just one unearned run on three hits. But he did walk three batters while striking out four. He threw 64 pitches and 37 were strikes. Adrian Sampson made his Cubs organization debut when he entered the game in the sixth inning. Five Stars of the Cub Farm, 5/11/21: Mervis, Jordan, Payne, Ueckert, Nahas, Higgins, Biagini and More

Only two outings so far this year, but if you re looking for the first Cubs prospect who pretty clearly popped during the shutdown, it s this dude. Went from Low-A in 2019 with so-so numbers to Double-A this year with crazy early success (and scouting reports). https://t.co/1fbU4KsV6f

I don’t remember how to turn it on anymore. We’re really going to do this thing, huh? OK. Let’s go. I’ll give it my best shot.
