NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The North Charleston Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center says although they are scheduled to be complete and open this summer, they are opening a portion early as a vaccination clinic for veterans.
The North Charleston VA says starting Monday, veterans 70-years-old and older, who are enrolled in VA health care, will be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The VA says they hope to vaccinate up to 5,000 Veterans per week, but that is dependent on the availability of vaccines. They do however say the VA is inoculating with both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine.
