Due out Friday, November 10th is "Sonic Mojo," the first new album in seven years from Foghat. The veteran band, still led by founding drummer Roger Earl, recorded the 12-song set at the group's headquarters in rural Florida; it was co-produced by Earl and guitarist Bryan Basset and includes three tracks, including the first single "She's a Little Bit of Everything," co-written with Kim Simmonds, the late Savoy Brown leader who gave Earl his start in that band. Earl tells us that fans of Foghat hits such as "Slow Ride" and "Fool For the City" will find plenty of familiarity on "Sonic Mojo:" "That's what this band's all about blues, rock 'n' roll, maybe a little country thrown in the side for good measure.
