JOHNSTOWN Fulton County Planning Director Scott Henze recently released more details about a new hangar project at the County Airport to support Glen-based LifeNet/Air Methods Air Medical Transport Services’ move there.
LifeNet NY operates 11 air medical transport bases throughout New York state. The firm’s parent company is Air Methods of Greenwood Village, Co.
Henze related new details of the project to the Board of Supervisors’ Public Works Committee. He said LifeNet desires to relocate its town of Glen base to the Fulton County Airport on Route 67.
“LifeNet has quite an extensive staff,” Henze said.

He said they are being used by emergency management and emergency medical system workers at COVID vaccination clinics.
He said nitrile gloves are also used by law enforcement, including corrections; and by fire and EMS personnel.
