According to Hatch, he is honored to be named a commander and looks forward to doing his duty. Being entrusted with command of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron Fourteen (HM-14) has truly been an honor, and it is both humbling and exciting to be part of such an amazing legacy of achievement in the Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM) community, Hatch said.
The commander said the ceremony was much smaller than usual due to COVID-19, but it was still a wonderful event.
