Hammerin Hank Aaron dies at age 86 ATLANTA (CBS 58/AP) Hall of Famer and one-time home run king Henry Louis Hank Aaron passed away Friday, Jan. 22. The Atlanta Braves said he died peacefully in his sleep. He was 86.  Hammerin Hank started and ended his career in Milwaukee. He spent his first 11 years with the Milwaukee Braves and his final two with the Milwaukee Brewers.  Hank set a wide array of records during a 23-year career spent mostly with the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves, including RBIs, extra-base hits and total bases. But the Hall of Famer will be remembered for one swing above all others, the one that made him baseball’s home-run king.
