plenty of time tanning and now as abc s scott goldberg reports, one visit to the salon has her in trouble. reporter: patricia came to court to plead not guilty on charges she endangered her daughter by taking the 5-year-old to a tanning salon. i m a great mother. i m a wonderful mother. reporter: she also is someone who likes a little color. as you can see, i m very tan. and i have been tanning my whole life. reporter: the 44-year-old clearly isn t so concerned about the warnings we ve all heard about tanning beds. but authorities in new jersey say she took her daughter anna into a tanning room with her without the salon s knowledge. and for that, she s been charged with second-degree child endangerment. absolutely not true. it s not true whatsoever. i would never put a child in any form of danger. reporter: that s what mom says. but the school nurse noticed anna had a rash and called child services after anna said it came from tanning with mommy. my daughter and i, we
