The third annual Rocky Fork Lake Fourth of July Parade, an event that offers free ice cream, will be held Sunday, July 4 at 10 a.m. as a project of the Rocky Fork Lake Business Advisory Committee.
Lineup for the parade begins at 9 a.m. at Beechwood Pizza, located at 6501 Beechwood Lane. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. from the lineup location and will head down North Shore Drive before ending at the North Beach parking lot.
In Provincial Court in Prince George on March 29:
Vince R. Prince was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol reading over .08, fined $1,000 (due Dec. 30), assessed a victim surcharge of $150 (due Dec. 30) and prohibited from driving for one year.
William A. Sinclair was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while prohibited, fined $500 (due Dc. 30), assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due Dec. 30) and prohibited from driving for one year. Sinclair was also found guilty of failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance, sentenced to 30 days in jail and assessed a victim surcharge of $50 (due June 29).
