The Kansas City, Missouri, Board of Police Commissioners adjourned Tuesday from its regularly-scheduled monthly meeting with no announcement for who might select as the city’s next Chief of Police.
Protesters calling for local control of KCPD called the meeting a “scam” and said the Board of Police Commissioners were already set to choose a “puppet.”
