A volunteer search for the seven missing Seacor crew members continues while a cloud of accusations lingers from the United Cajun Navy.
Earlier this month there was a falling out between a group of volunteers and the UCN which has now led to president Todd Terrell taking legal action against two key volunteers. The United Cajun Navy leader filed a protective order this week in East Baton Rouge Parish accusing Christifer DeRouen of cyberstalking and extortion, claiming that the search volunteer attacked him on social media and through text messages.
Terrell also accused Scott Daspit (father of missing Seacor crew member Dylan Daspit) of cyberstalking, saying that he worked in harmony with DeRouen to extort money from him over their demand to see donations that they claim Terrell wasn t being fully transparent about.

According to the above post, the hard hat was found on the beach in Port Aransas, Texas. One of the missing members of the Seacor Power is Dylan Daspit, who s Father has recently formed a non-profit organization in an effort to bring more support to the search efforts that have been on-going for weeks now.
The companies who employed Daspit have been in contact with his family.
Missing Seacor Crewmember s Hard Hat Found 600 Miles Away From Where Boat Capsized

The hard hat of missing Seacor Power crewmember Dylan Daspit washed up and was discovered by a lifeguard on the beach along the Texas coast, confirmed U.S. Coast Guard Public Affairs Officer Cory Mindenhall.
The hat washed up in Port Aransas, nearly 600 miles from the site of the Seacor Power capsizing, according to WGNO. Daspit, 30, is one of seven men still missing from the Seacor Power disaster, which occurred April 13.
The Seacor Power, a lift boat owned by Seacor Marine, capsized in April, several miles from Port Fourchon, Louisiana with 19 crewmen on board. According to KLFY, a microburst of severe weather caused the craft to capsize just after 4 p.m.

It has been a month since the Seacor Power capsizing in April, and searches are still ongoing by groups along the coast.
On Thursday Ronnie Adams, who has been the face of the Seacor search on social media, provided an update on their search operations. Volunteers are searching in the area of Cypremort Point both in Iberia and St. Mary Parishes.
This has been a reoccurring effort with teams out each day to help find those still missing.
They say teams will be searching near Marsh Island and going to canals in other areas on Thursday.

BATON ROUGE, La. â The head of the United Cajun Navy has accused two men in the volunteer effort of searching for the missing Seacor Power crew members of extortion and cyberstalking over demands for money they claim he is hiding.
