MASSAPEQUA, New York Krisch s Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlour has been in its current home in Massapequa since 1955, but the business actually began in New York City 100 years ago.
Krisch s opened in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn in 1920, then relocated to Hollis, Queens in 1934 before settling in its longtime Long Island home.
Their authentic flavors and historic 1950s atmosphere teleport you back to a simpler time as soon as you walk through the door. Krisch s is unique because everything is made by hand, said owner Scott Cackett.
