The memories of Logan County Sheriffs Deputy the late Scott Brown are being honored with a scholarship being named after him.
Brown, 65, lost his battle with cancer and died February 14, 2021 but his work in law enforcement will be remembered as a newly formed committee along with Brown’s family is setting up the Scott Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund.
In a statement from the committee shared their thoughts on keeping Brown’s spirit alive.
“As our community continues to grieve the loss of Scott, this fund will help to keep his memory alive through helping students achieve their dreams of success,” as written in the statement.
