I had a very nice 64th birthday yesterday. I took the day off, had a nice meal midday (with a scoop of ice cream, the second one I ve had this year, with a candle in it! Special occasion.), and I got done
most of everything I wanted to do. I got to talk to my son Xander, my brother Scott, and Peter Turnley, who by a nice coincidence called by for the first time in months without knowing it was my birthday. I m sure I ll talk to brother Charlie soon. It was a sunny, pleasant day, followed by an evening with a nearly-full moon in clear and starry skies after the sun went down.
