Lowland League club president resigns over controversial Celtic and Rangers Colts plan Civil Service Strollers president Russell Pryde has stood down from his position at the Lowland League club after the vote to allow Celtic and Rangers Colts into the division. The two Glasgow sides will enter their B-teams into Scottish football s fifth tier after 11 out of 17 clubs in the league voted in favour of the controversial proposal. Both sides will stump up £25,000 to be divided among all clubs in the league and they will partake for just one season. But Mr Pryde - whose club was one who voted against the idea - resigned in protest, as confirmed this morning on social media.

FIRST MINISTER OF Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, has indicated the imminent return of top-flight women’s football and lower league football.
All but the top two tiers of the men’s game were suspended by the Scottish Football Association board in January due to coronavirus concerns.
The impacted leagues were Scottish Professional Football League One, SPFL League Two, Scottish Women’s Football Premier Leagues One and Two, Highland League, Lowland League, East, West and South of Scotland Leagues, S
All school pupils to have some in-person teaching from March 15
Primary one to three children have already returned full-time to the classroom.
But as of the middle of this month, P4-7 youngsters will also return to schools full-time - ending more than two months of home schooling.
All secondary school students will be given some face-to-face teaching from that date, before they return full-time after the Easter break.
Senior phase students (S4-S6) who are taking national qualifications will have priority for face-to-face lessons in school.
Councils will decide at a local level what the blend of in-person and home schooling looks like for teenagers.
