Hit a 4yearold boy killing him was this this car charging his cell phone. This afternoon family and friends came together to celebrate a birthday. Police say a 12yearold boy got in a family car in the parking lot. Preliminary investigation shows a 12yearold was in the car apparently charging his phone. Unclear the car was running at that time but somehow it went in to reverse. The car backed over a 4yearold boy. The Police Station across the street. And the officers tried to give the child cpr but couldnt save him. A 13yearold boy was also hit and suffered minor injuries. The 12yearold boy in the car suffered minor injuries. We asked if he may face charges. At this time it is a preliminary investigation. Everything right now points to a tragic accident. The snow is starting to wind down a little bit but the last place along the south shore where we could see some snow showers lingering all the way into tomorrow morning. Right now the steadiest snowfall in cohasset down through marshfield around brad. , duxbury seeing some of that snow. Could linger here on cape and coming in off the water. The main concern is the high tide cycle underway right now between now and 2 a. M. Along the south shore and cape cod coastal flood advisories. The usual prone areas, in splash over and some water not as intense as we saw earlier on today for the late morning hours. Winds are. By tomorrow morning the wind gusts dropping off. This is tomorrow morning and afternoon. The best chance will be in the afternoon, and the first area, i think well see areas north and west. These are snow showers. Its not a snowstorm, and we do expect temperatures to be above freezing at the time that a lot of these showers move in.
