Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung said that platforms used in digital technology need to be born from the pains of society and solve challenges facing society.
The message was conveyed by Dung at the first event of the Vietnam digital technology’s challenges Forum, held on April 9.
The forum is the new face of the Technology Friday series organized in 2020. It has a new name – Vietnam digital technology’s challenges, aiming to look for technological answers to Vietnamese questions.

Developing content on YouTube has proven to be very profitable for young creators, from a 29-year-old Vietnamese girl to a 9-year-old boy from Texas.
Ryan Kaji was once again found in the list of YouTube s highest income earners in 2020 released by Forbes, with an estimated income of $29.5 million.
The boy, whose father is Japanese and mother is Vietnamese, is the owner of Ryan’s World channel with 29 million subscribers and 46 billion views since 2015.

Pham Van Vuong, 32, from Thanh Tri district in Hanoi, uses both hands to pour out tea into a cup when receiving guests. His arm transplant, which came from the body of a 51-year-old man, has become part of him and he can now feel it and move with it.

Mobile Money on a trial basis will create a precedent for applying the sandbox mechanism to other services and new professions to appear in digital society.
Sandbox mechanism refers to new technologies, products, services and business models. It is done in an environment in which technology firms carry out experiments under certain limitations. The trial will provide information to management agencies to decide whether to continue or stop the models and create official legal frameworks.

Despite ironclad moves taken by appropriate agencies, the trafficking and illegal transport of tigers to make tiger bone glue remains a burning issue in Vietnam.
On January 19, the Ha Tinh Police for Economic Crimes and Huong Son district Police for Environmental Crimes raided the house of Dinh Nhat Nghe, born in 1972, in Quang Diem commune and found a dead tiger weighing 250 kilograms.
Nghe and Nguyen Thi Yen, his wife, are being investigated for illegally storing and butchering wild animals. They were allegedly making tiger bone glue for sale.
