Thousands of performers dressed in colorful costumes marched and performed through philadelphia to entertain the crowds who bundled up to continue with tradition, all of this despite being in a deep freeze. But it appears the frigid forecast kept some of the fans away. There were sparse crowds along the parade route today and those who did show up were bundled up tight. We get sideswiped and wednesday morning seeing snow and ice in parts of southern georgia and northern florida, this will be moving offshore about 250 miles offshore. It looks like the model consensus and this track could change a bit and it brings accumulating snow into the region by thursday morning. I think the thursday morning commute will be a problem. Winter storm watches are posted for all the counties right along the shore. Since this storm is 250 miles offshore. Those will be the areas greates beginning Late Wednesday night impacting the morning commute eastern new jersey, out of here by thursday afternoon. Thursday morning is rush hour and despite not a major storm still creating very slick travel on thursday mornings rush hour with the hardest hit area southeastern new jersey and tapers off thursday afternoon.
