The Waterford and District Junior League met last night, ultimately deciding that the season be cancelled.
Games will resume with the new season which gets underway from July 14th.
An adjusted calendar will now offer a Youth League, an Under 19 League and once the Schoolboy League is completed we will start an Under 17 league, according to an email sent by the league secretary.
It’s understood that there will be no league levy or entry fee for the year, with covid affected finances being the presumed reason.
The Munster FA has been notified of the committee’s decision.
